PWI has been in the Electronics/Interior Aircraft Lighting business since 1963. PWI manufactures a complete line of LED Lighting products serving a wide range of lighting applications. PWI uses state of the art LEDs and driver technology to produce energy efficient and cost effective lighting solutions. Our products are designed to provide both direct and indirect lighting for Aviation, Transportation and Residential and Commercial markets.

Lone Star Aviation will stock PWI’s LED Strip Lights in both 6” and 12” lengths easily configurable to many aircraft cabin interiors. Their design center has additional LED lighting profiles on file for cabin, flight crew, galley, cargo and panel lighting systems. Lone Star Aviation has several FAA, TSO approved DC converters configurable to most LED lighting systems.

Lone Star Aviation is a Texas Corporation chartered in the state of Texas since October, 1990. The company has been designing and manufacturing innovative aircraft electronic products to the aviation, land-mobile, marine and military markets. Our aircraft parts are thoroughly tested in-house as well as by an outside FAA approved testing laboratory under RTCA, DO160D/E, TSO, STC, TC approved criteria.

Lighting & Engineering

Our combined engineering resources at PWI and Lone Star Aviation enables the partnership to supply existing and potential modification centers an engineering support to research and develop a custom LED Lighting system unique for their make and model aircraft. PWI and Lone Star Aviation have an on-going relationship with LED manufacturers that allow for the latest LED Lighting products to be developed to replace current interior lighting systems using fluorescent lighting. PWI’s LED Lights have a uniform CRI (Color Rendering Index), light output and color temperature. They operate cooler and with less power that other LED lighting systems on the market.
